Scope of Work: Monitoring & Evaluation Professional (Part-time, Time-bound Contract Position – located in Israel/Palestine)

OneVoice mobilizes people who believe positive change is possible in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We empower grassroots activism and emerging leaders in Israel and Palestine—and their global allies—to achieve a future that is fair, just, and secure. Our vision is to move a critical mass of Israelis and Palestinians to reject the status quo and drive towards an equitable resolution to the conflict—in this generation.

Common Ground is a new 6-month program whose objective is to promote the emergence of the next generation of Israelis and Palestinians who believe in mutually beneficial cooperation as a pathway for conflict transformation. The program will start with approximately 24 participants, with roughly half from Palestine and Israel, respectively.

Through a multi-modal approach incorporating case studies and experiential learning via a small group project, Common Ground creates a model for shared hands-on public policy advocacy and developing projects of joint interest between Palestinians and Israelis. Participation in Common Ground will strengthen the development of the knowledge, skills, attitudes and networks that are essential for conflict transformation. The program will build impact and sustainability through supporting an alumni network and identifying and promoting engagement opportunities with partners in both Israel and Palestine.

We are hiring a locally-based Monitoring & Evaluation Professional on a time-bound, part-time basis to design and oversee the monitoring and evaluation of our pilot program and write a final report for our staff, board and donors. The contract will be for 35-50 hours over the course of our 6 month pilot (launching in February 2022). Experience working on USAID-funded projects is a must.
