With its main office in Tel Aviv, OneVoice Israel bridges the gap between political leaders and grassroots, calling for positive action toward the two-state solution. Its seven university chapters act as scions for nationwide initiatives. This year, OneVoice Israel will continue with its ongoing message and grassroots activism to freeze settlements and unfreeze the peace process. This work will build on a broad coalition from civil society and the private sector, as well as partners in the Knesset who share OneVoice’s vision. This coalition shall exert pressure and/or provide backing for its work on their respective political leaders, pushing for tangible changes in policy and the reality on the ground.
OneVoice Palestine’s main office is located in Ramallah. Its efforts to keep the hope for a Palestinian state alive make it the second-largest political youth movement in the West Bank with chapters in 11 cities. OneVoice also operates a chapter in Gaza. In 2013, OVP is emphasizing non-violent resistance and building the Palestinian state based on the 1967 lines. OVP is carrying out widespread street campaigns, holding educational and political events, and working with the grassroots and political elites to push this cause. OVP’s goal is to reach 1,000 new young Palestinians and train a majority as OVP youth leaders this year to spread the commitment to internal national reconciliation, and to an end to conflict once and for all after solving all final status issues in accordance with international resolutions.
Based in London, OneVoice Europe utilizes the media and political context to amplify the Movement’s work in Israel and Palestine. Through the Outreach and Education Program (O&E), it helps young British students to better understand Israel and Palestine through direct interaction with people who live through the conflict every day. Its efforts to build bridges between communities, empower students, and promote conflict resolution involve members of British, Palestinian, and Israeli societies from many faiths and backgrounds. OVE also raises funds for the ongoing work of OneVoice in Palestine and Israel.
OneVoice International, located in New York, connects Israelis, Palestinians, and the international community by amplifying the campaigns of OneVoice Palestine and OneVoice Israel and simultaneously encouraging complementary engagement in the United States. Its International Engagement Program (IEP) mobilizes American students, community members, and leaders through education and advocacy efforts to play their role to contribute to peace building in Israel and Palestine and ensure a just solution to this conflict.
